After a fun-filled July, the tech fraternity is all set to experience a bunch of smartphone launches in August. While we witnessed the launch of some highly-anticipated phones like the Nothing Phone (2), Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, OnePlus Nord 3 and more, next month will be equally exciting as some refreshingly cool phones await India.
To give you a better idea of what is lined up in India for August in terms of smartphone launches, here is a listicle.

Redmi 12
The Redmi 12 will launch in India on August 1, likely in the under Rs 15,000 segment. It will have a 50MP primary camera, 5000mAh battery and "Redmi's biggest display yet".
Motorola G14
The Moto G14 will be available for pre-order from August 1. It will have a 6.5-inch FHD+ screen, Unisoc T616 chip, Android 13, 5000mAh battery, 50MP primary lens, and an IP52 rating.
Infinix GT Series
The pre-orders for the Infinix GT series will begin on August 3 on Flipkart. The top-end variant will have Dimensity 8050 chip, a 6.67-inch AMOLED 10-bit display, a 5000mAh battery and a 108MP primary camera.
Samsung Galaxy F34 5G
The upcoming 'F' series phone from Samsung will likely debut in August as the company has officially teased the phone on Flipkart. It will have an FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen, a 50MP camera and a 6000mAh battery.
iQOO Z7 Pro
The company has officially teased the Z7 Pro in India. It will have a curved screen on the front with a centre punch-hole display. The screen will likely be AMOLED.
Tecno Pova 5 Series
The new smartphone series with LEDs on the back will likely launch next month as a microsite of the series is already live. The LED design seems inspired by the Nothing Phone (2).
Beyond the confirmed launches, OnePlus Open will likely launch globally on August 29. This will act as a direct competition to the latest Galaxy Z Fold 5, Google Pixel Fold and Tecno Phantom V Fold. Besides these, Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, Realme GT Neo 6, and Vivo V29 series are expected to debut across the world. However, they may not release in India in August.
