The Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power are up for their first sale in India today. Both phones were launched on September 4 and come with mid-range hardware, but their large batteries are likely to be among the biggest talking points. The Poco X8 packs a 9,000mAh battery, while the X8 Power comes with a 10,000mAh unit. Both models also feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera and Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 series processors.

Poco X8, Poco X8 Power Price In India, Sale Offers

The Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power will be available exclusively on Flipkart from 12:00 PM IST today.

The Poco X8 starts at Rs. 29,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant. Its 8GB+128GB version costs Rs. 32,999, while the 8GB+256GB model is priced at Rs. 35,999. It will be sold in Black, Fiery Orange and Frost White colour options.

The Poco X8 Power is priced slightly higher, starting at Rs. 35,999 for 8GB+128GB. The 8GB+256GB version will cost Rs. 38,999. This model comes in Yellow and Black colourways.

Poco is also offering some discounts at launch. Buyers can get Rs. 2,000 off, along with a Rs. 1,000 bank offer or exchange bonus. According to Poco, these offers can bring the effective price down to Rs. 26,999 for the X8 and Rs. 32,999 for the X8 Power.

A 12-month no-cost EMI option is available as well. The monthly instalment starts at Rs. 2,250 for the Poco X8 and Rs. 2,750 for the X8 Power.

Poco X8, Poco X8 Power Specifications

The two smartphones have the same display. Both feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Poco says the screen supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, along with a 3,200Hz touch sampling rate aimed at gaming.

Durability is another area where the phones are similarly equipped. They carry IP66, IP68 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. Both support dual nano SIM cards with dual standby and run Xiaomi's HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.

The processors are different, though. The Poco X8 is powered by Qualcomm's 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset and comes with LPDDR4X RAM. The X8 Power uses the 4nm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor and gets LPDDR5X RAM. Both phones have UFS 4.1 storage.

The camera setup also varies between the two models. Both use a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture. On the Poco X8, it is accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The X8 Power instead gets an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera.

For selfies, the Poco X8 has a 16-megapixel front camera, while the X8 Power gets a 32-megapixel sensor.

The battery is the biggest difference between the two. The Poco X8 comes with a 9,000mAh battery and supports 67W wired charging. The X8 Power steps things up with a 10,000mAh battery and 100W wired charging.
