Realme Neo 8 Teaser: Realme has now announced that the Realme Neo 8 will release soon in China, succeeding the Neo 7. Pre-empting the launch, the brand has also begun revealing the phone’s design and colour options, offering fans a good look at its striking, esports-inspired appearance. It will launch with a see-through RGB design on all versions, accompanied by Realme’s own performance-orientated branding.

Three Colour Options Confirmed

The Realme Neo 8 will be offered in three colour options:

Cyber Purple – a “Flash Fantasy” shade with futuristic gaming vibes

Mecha Gray – a darker, more industrial hue with an emphasis on having a premium, stealthy aesthetic

Origin White Realme calls this a “truly flawless” clean and minimal option

All three models share the same transparent RGB rear design, despite the different colours. It’s accentuated by an orange VOOC branding to them, which makes the look more contrasting.

Transparent Back With RGB Accents

The backside goes for a semi-transparent finish that lets you see through the inside design. Realme’s Awakening Halo lighting is located beside the camera island in further emphasis of the gaming theme. Taking a close look at the branding, we can see that the camera module bears an inscription of “HYPERIMAGE+” and there is even an NFC label indicating built-in NFC.

The phone also comes with large R-angle corners that the company says provide a better grip and ergonomics when playing games or watching content for an extended period.

Display and Performance Highlights

Realme has already announced that the Neo 8 will come with a 165 Hz Samsung M14 OLED panel made with Samsung Display’s modern luminescent material technology. This is believed to enhance power efficiency and prolong the panel life. It’s protected by shatter- and scratch-resistant Crystal Armour Glass.

Other confirmed features include:

- Ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor

- Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset

- A score of over 3.58 million on AnTuTu was also mentioned

- Camera Setup

Realme Neo 8 will offer a triple rear camera setup. One of the sensors is rumoured to go up to 120x zoom, thought to be achieved with a periscope telephoto lens.

What to Expect Next
