Redmi 13C Release Date In India: Chinese smartphone maker Redmi has announced that it will launch the Redmi 13C smartphone in the country on December 6. This comes a few days after a report tipped the launch of the handset next month. It will likely act as the successor to the current Redmi 12C, which sits between the budget A2 series and the midrange number series.

In the images on the Indian website, it seems the handset will debut in India in two colour options: Stardust Black and Star Shine Green. For the unversed, the handset has already launched in the global market in two additional colours - Navy Blue and Glacier White. According to Redmi, the Indian model will have a 50MP primary camera on the rear.

The handset could have a 6.74-inch HD+ 90Hz screen with a peak brightness of up to 600nits. It could weigh 192g and have a thickness of 8.09mm. For performance, the device may offer a 12nm octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 chip with Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It will likely run on the latest MIUI 14 based on Android 13.

Redmi 13C may have a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging. As for the optics, the handset will likely debut with a 50MP primary and 2MP macro sensor on the back. On the front, the Redmi 13C may have an 8MP selfie shooter. For connectivity, the device may offer Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.
