Samsung Android 15 Update Timeline Revealed: Samsung users have been eagerly awaiting the much-delayed Android 15 update, and it seems that the wait may soon be over. While the Galaxy S25 event in January officially introduced One UI 7 based on Android 15, older Galaxy devices have been stuck in beta testing for a while. But now, reports suggest that the full rollout could begin in the coming weeks.
Samsung Android 15 Update Rollout Timeline: What We Know
Although Samsung hasn’t confirmed the exact release dates, a new report indicates that the Android 15 update could hit older Galaxy S and Fold/Flip models as early as April. Here’s what to expect:
April 18: Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 6
April 25: Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 5, Galaxy A54
May 16: Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 4, Galaxy A34, Galaxy A53
May 23: Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 3
This timeline also includes mid-range models like the Galaxy A series, which shows Samsung’s wide-reaching approach to the update. However, these dates also highlight that Samsung is facing challenges with the rollout, as the new update is said to be a major overhaul, and the process has taken longer than expected.
Those who are using the older models will have to wait a bit longer to get their update like the Galaxy Flip 3 and Fold 3 will have to wait until May 23. However, some users may get a glimpse of Android 15 in May, right around the time Android 16 might be preparing for its public release.
