South Korean smartphone maker Samsung is reportedly gearing up for its next 'Fan Edition' iteration in India. While media reports have given several hints about the existence of the phone behind the curtains, an Indian tipster has now tipped the price of the upcoming device. Here are more details:

Samsung S23 FE 5G Expected Price

Taking to X (formerly called Twitter), tipster Abhishek Yadav shared that the 128GB model of the device may have a starting price of Rs 54,999. On the other hand, the 256GB variant could be priced at Rs 59,999. However, the tipster added that these are not from official sources. Hence, they might differ when the actual product launches in the country. But these prices are higher than the current S21 FE's Snapdragon 888 chipset.

In a previous post, the tipster said the phone could arrive with an AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, the phone may have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in some markets and Exynos 2200 in others. It will likely have a 4500mAh battery with support for 25W charging. As for the optics, the device has a 50MP primary lens and a 12MP selfie shooter.

According to reports, the phone may have a glass back and metal frame. Plus, it may support 15W charging and an IP68 rating for protection against water and dust. A reader must note that the company has not confirmed the specifications of the device at the moment.

However, it has appeared on several platforms, solidifying reports of the existence of the S23 FE. The launch date may materialise in the fourth quarter of 2023. On a related note, the company announced the Galaxy S23 series in February with three devices: Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. In the latest move, the tech maker announced the latest Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5 and the new Galaxy Watch 6 series.
