One UI 7: Samsung is continuing the rollout of One UI 7 to other Galaxy devices; to be precise, the devices which are now getting the stable update are the Galaxy S23 Series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Tab S10 Series, and Galaxy Tab S9 Series. Although only a handful of new devices are getting it as of now.

The rollout has begun in South Korea, and there is a possibility that other markets will receive it soon too. The global rollout usually begins at the same time or soon after.

It must be noted that Samsung had halted the rollout of the One UI 7 update to devices globally due to a major bug issue. The company since then has resolved the issue, and the rollout continues. This will be the second wave of devices that will receive the One UI 7 update.

Currently, for India, there is still ambiguity about the rollout of the One UI 7 update for previous years flagships, which included the Galaxy S24 Series smartphones. According to a post shared by tipster @tarunvats33 on X (Twitter), Samsung had revealed the dates on which devices in India will receive the One UI 7 update. But Galaxy users in India are still waiting.

So it is still unclear when the older variants or the second wave of devices, namely the Galaxy S23 Series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Tab S10 Series, and Galaxy Tab S9 Series, will receive the update in India.

This One UI 7 update will come with the April 2025 security patch on all mentioned devices.

This update brings major UI enhancements, like two separate pages for accessing notifications and quick toggles, which can be optimised according to your needs. New app icon design architecture, smoother animations and transitions are also there.

There are several new implements that the Korean tech giant has added to its One UI 7 update, focusing on better personalisation and user experience. Major highlights are as follows-

Now Bar- Something similar to what its competitor Apple has introduced in its latest iPhones the Dynamic Island, the Now Bar will offer interactive notifications and live updates.

Enhanced and easy media casting and syncing across devices.

Photo Tools- Advanced tools like audio eraser and enhanced editing have also been introduced.

A Renewed home screen design with more flexibility in customisations.
