Samsung Introduced its One UI 7 with the Samsung S25-series launch in February 2025. Since then there has been no official update about the One UI 7 timeline of other Samsung devices. Samsung and tech fans were eagerly waiting for the One UI 7 update as it comes with some great features that can make any non-Samsung user jealous.

But Samsung knew that good software experience was worth waiting for. Now Samsung has officially confirmed the One UI 7 based on the Android 15 update timeline. In this article, we will discuss some One UI 7 features, One UI 7 supported devices and One UI 7 update timeline so you get to know when will you get your hands on One UI 7.

One UI 7 Features

There have been a lot of upgrades in One UI 7. Here we will point out some note-worthy changes and upgrades that you should know before you upgrade your Samsung to One UI 7.

- Now Bar: It offers real-time updates on the lock screen at the bottom of the screen for some apps.

- AI Select: Once UI 7 have adaptive functionality when you select any on-screen content

- Writing Assist: You can summarize or generate text when selecting the text/text box, it was available earlier as well but now it's improved.

- Drawing Assist: Combine text and sketch/image prompts to generate images

- Audio Eraser: Remove unwanted sounds in videos

- Google Gemini integration: Side-button press to access Gemini

- Natural language search in Settings: Now you can search settings such as “my eyes are tired” and your galaxy will find associated settings.

One UI 7 Supported Devices List

According to the Samsung Singapore report, the One UI 7 update will further be rolled out to the older S-series smartphones, foldables and tablets.  The list includes the Galaxy S24, S23, S22, and S21-series, as well as standard and ultra variants. Additionally, the Android 15-based One UI 7 features will be available for the Fan Edition S23 and S21 as well.

Now moving to the Foldables, One UI 7 update will be rolled out for the:

- Galaxy Z Fold 3,

- Galaxy Z Flip 3, 

- Galaxy Z Fold 4,

- Galaxy Z Flip 4,

- Galaxy Z Fold 5, and 

- Galaxy Z Flip 5.

For Tablets:

- Galaxy Tab S10,

- Galaxy Tab S9-series,

- Galaxy Tab S8-series,

- Galaxy Tab S9 FE, and

- Galaxy Tab S9 FE+

Note that Samsung has not confirmed any updated details about the mid-range and budget devices. While some devices such as Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, Galaxy A26, Galaxy A06 5G, Galaxy M16 and a few more run on the latest update. Other device users may still have to wait for a few more weeks to get their hands on the latest Android update.

One UI 7 Update Timeline

Samsung recently announced the update timeline country-wise around the world. Samsung officially announced the One UI 7 software update starting on April 7. Samsung planned to release the official One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6 on April 10 in the US. Here is the official schedule:

- April 7 – South Korea

- April 10 – United States, Canada, Norway, Sweden

- April 14 – Malaysia, Singapore

- “Early April” – Belgium, Netherlands

However, now Samsung might delay the US rollout as they just took down the April release post from the official Newsroom without any clarification. Additionally, Samsung US scrapped One UI 7 rollout-related posts from its social media handles such as X, formerly Twitter. 

However, Samsung didn’t delete any of the global news and posts. That might indicate that US is the only region where the update might get delayed.
