Samsung OneUI 6.0 Beta, which was just announced on the Galaxy S23 series running Android 14, is expected to provide a flood of new features, a revised user interface, and enhanced capabilities. According to sources, OneUI 6.0 will have a new style, and the beta version already shows what public users can expect. The OneUI 6 beta is currently available in the United States, Korea, and Germany, with other devices likely to follow suit soon.

While it is one of the major updates coming soon, here are some features that you can expect from the new skin.

1. Quick Settings Menu

The new update will include a fresh new quick setting menu that will provide easier access to toggles such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, display, and dark mode, as well as a brightness bar and an eye comfort shield.

Furthermore, the new version will allow users to change the top and full quick settings. It also receives a new media player that displays the media progress indicator in a wavy fashion. Furthermore, it has a comparable panel for both fast settings and notifications.

2. Camera Widget

The next version will also include a new widget option for quick access to the camera. Users can designate a shortcut for a specific camera sensor (wide/ultra-wide/telephoto) as well as settings such as photo, portrait, video, night mode, and more. The company hopes that by doing so, they would be able to easily access their favourite lens.

3. New Lock Screen Customisation Features

The South Korean technology giant has also released a variety of clock styles that can be tweaked and enlarged. The functionality is not unique, however, it may assist users in customising their lock screen and making it more effective to their needs.

4. New Fonts, Emojis

Everyone’s favourite emoji style will also get a fresh look as the OneUI 6 will come with a new system. The emojis will now look more modern, systematic, and uniform as compared to Samsung's OneUI 5.

The OneUI 6 public version is expected to roll out by October 2023.
