Vivo, a popular Chinese smartphone maker, which has already unveiled some of its new phones this year, is now reportedly all set to introduce its Vivo V29 series in India. The smartphone has already made its debut in other markets and was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and IMEI database, which hints the India launch is pretty close.
According to a report by MySmartPrice citing its top sources, it has announced that Vivo V29e will be the first device to launch in India and not the Vivo V29. Further, the report has announced that the smartphone will make its debut by the end of this month and also predicted some of the key specifications of the device.
The report claims that the Vivo V29e will be the most premium e-variant of the V series by the brand and will get massive camera upgrades and design upgrades. Here are all the specifications that the report suggests will feature in the smartphone.
Vivo V29e Specifications:
The upcoming Vivo V29e will get a glass finish design along with a colour-changing glass back and ultra-slim body. The report also suggests that the smartphone will get a 3D curved display with a refresh rate panel of 120 Hz. Under the hood, the smartphone is said to feature up to 8GB of RAM and 256 GB internal storage and is likely to debut with two variants- 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB.
The processor has not been leaked yet but the Geekbench listing suggests that it will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC chipset which is codenamed Holi. It means that the Snapdragon 480 5G/480+ 5G SoC may power the smartphone. It is also expected that it will be running on the Android 13-based FunTouchOS 13 out of the box,
The company has not teased the smartphone, but it is expected that the brand will start doing it by the mid of this month.
