Vivo V60: Vivo is preparing to bring its next mid-range challenger to India—the Vivo V60. The brand has already started teasing the phone on its website, providing an early preview of its looks, colour options, and some of the important specs. The V60 will replace last year's V50 and make a splash with its ultra-thin build despite housing a huge 6,500 mAh battery.
ZEISS-powered triple camera setup with 100x zoom
One of the most notable aspects of the V60 is its camera setup. The device will feature a ZEISS-endorsed triple rear camera setup that features a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. Interestingly enough, the telephoto lens has a 100x zoom capability. At the front, users can expect a 50MP high-resolution selfie shooter.
Confirmed specs and features
The Vivo V60 will ship with a curved screen on all four sides—something you usually find on premium phones. In terms of hardware, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip and come with Funtouch OS 15 pre-installed. The phone will also support 90W fast charging for its huge 6,500mAh battery, Vivo has confirmed.
Other features that have been confirmed are IP68 and IP69 water and dust-resistance ratings and five years of long-term software support. The device will come in three colours: Auspicious Gold, Moonlit Blue, and Mist Grey.

Launch schedule and estimated price
Though the official release date has not been announced as yet, rumours in the industry suggest an August 19 release in India. Pricing is likely between ₹37,000 and ₹40,000 for the vanilla model. For comparison, its previous offering—the Vivo V50—was priced at ₹34,999.
With a mix of premium aesthetics, robust camera hardware, and a big battery, the Vivo V60 may be an interesting choice for individuals seeking a flagship-lite device.
