Vivo is gearing up to launch its next set of flagship devices in China, and alongside the premium X300 Ultra, the Vivo X300s is also set to make its debut on Monday. Just days before the official unveiling, a senior company executive has shared a bunch of key details, giving us a pretty clear idea of what to expect.

A Performance-Focused Core

At the heart of the Vivo X300s will be MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with Vivo’s in-house V3+ Blueprint imaging chip. This combination suggests the phone is not just focused on raw performance, but also on improving imaging and processing capabilities.

On the front, the device will feature a 6.78-inch flat display with a 144Hz refresh rate, which should make everything from scrolling to gaming feel smooth. Vivo is also bringing Zeiss Master Colour calibration into the mix, aiming for more accurate and natural colour reproduction.

To keep things running cool, the phone will include a large “Ice Pulse” VC liquid cooling system, which should help maintain performance during heavy usage.

Cameras Get a Big Upgrade

Camera hardware looks like a major highlight here. The Vivo X300s is set to feature a 200-megapixel primary sensor with Zeiss optics and optical image stabilisation. Alongside it, there’s a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, also with OIS.

The setup will support features like Zeiss APO super-telephoto capabilities, Blueprint colour tuning, and zoom flash. There’s also mention of a “Lipstick 200” teleconverter kit, which hints at additional zoom flexibility. For selfies, the phone will include a 50-megapixel front camera.

Battery, Charging, and Extras

One of the notable upgrades is the massive battery that the device will carry. The device will be equipped with a massive 7,100mAh battery called the ‘Blue Ocean’ battery. The battery will be able to be charged at up to 90W with the device’s charging capabilities and will be able to be wirelessly charged at up to 40W. This means that despite the massive battery that the device is carrying, the device will be able to be charged quite quickly.

The device will also be rated at IP68 and IP69. This means that the device will be quite resistant to dust and water.

Audio, Connectivity, and Design

When it comes to the usability of the device, the Vivo X300s will be equipped with dual stereo speakers and a custom vibration motor. Connectivity improvements come via the Universal Signal Amplification System 3.0, which is designed to enhance network performance. For security, the device will include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

In terms of looks, the phone will be available in Film Green, Dream Core Purple, and Silver colour options.
