WHATSAPP, one of the widely used instant messaging platforms all over the globe with over 2 billion monthly active users, has introduced a few new features to make the experience of the users more productive and fun. In a recent update, the company announced that it has added updated polls along with the ability to share media and documents with captions.

1. WhatsApp Polls:

The Poll function was released in November of last year and allows users to gather information about a certain subject by employing poles in the form of numbers. However, in order to obtain a clear and precise answer, the company is now introducing new poll creator options. The three types of polls that are currently available are listed below.

1. Single Vote Polls: The company has now included an option that will assist poll producers to achieve a clearer and more definite result by allowing them to build a poll with only one alternative for users.

2. Search Polls: With this new tool, the firm has implemented a new filter that allows users to search on the chat page and then see a list of poll results.

3. Stay Updated On Poll Results: The company has now enabled users to notify poll designers when the poll receives new responses. With this feature, users can now easily calculate the total number of votes cast.

2. Forwarding With Captions:

To make photo and media sharing easier, the company has created a new function that allows users to add captions along with forwarded images. While forwarding, the company has added the ability to keep, delete, or rewrite captions.

3. Sharing Documents With Captions:

WhatsApp has also introduced the ability to add captions before sharing any sort of document. With this feature, the company aims to help users who use the platform for work.
