WhatsApp, an instant messaging application, tests new features and enhancements at regular intervals. In the latest move, the company is now introducing new sticker creation shortcuts for iPhone users in the beta version. Spotted in the iOS '24.9.10.74' version, the feature is rolling out to eligible testers, according to WABetaInfo.

As per the report, the new sticker creation shortcuts will help ease the starting point for making stickers. As per the screengrab shared in the report, the company is introducing two shortcuts: 'Create' and 'Use AI' to make stickers as separate options. The icons incorporate the company's new modern design language.

For context, in the previous versions, eligible users were able to generate AI-based stickers through the same option that was used to make personalised stickers using media from their photo gallery. Users had to choose one out of the two options using the pop-up.

The new change can help improve the accessibility of the two features. These shortcuts show up in the stickers section of the keyboard and help users skip the step to configure an additional option to make personalised or AI-generated stickers. On a related note, the company is introducing an updated green interface for users in the stable build on iOS.

The new UI design is rolling out in the '24.9.74' version. As per the changelog screengrab shared by WABetaInfo, the update also brings audio sharing while sharing the screen during a video call. Plus, the build introduces a fresh interface with updated icons and illustrations within the app. It noted that these changes also include a green notification and buttons.
