WhatsApp, which has been working on a variety of new features to enhance the user experience and offer more control, is now rolling out a new feature using which the users will be able to control who can see their status updates. With this, the company aims to offer better management controls by adding an extra layer of privacy and customisation.

The new feature is part of the latest iOS beta version 24.10.10.75 which is now available with the latest TestFlight application. Not only that, the Meta-owned instant messaging platform, with the same update offers the ability to share videos up to one minute in length through status updates. It seems that WhatsApp has finally listened to the user's feedback and may roll out the feature soon.

After installing the latest beta update, the users will be able to review the audience settings before they set any videos or images as their status updates. The new settings will allow users to choose specific contacts for each status update, ensuring the content is seen by the selected people. With this, the users will be able to see a more enhanced sharing experience.

The users will get more control over their sharing experience by getting the option of selectively sharing their status with their friends, family and colleagues. The feature will also help the users who wish to share different types of content with different groups of contacts which means greater flexibility and control on offer.
