Elon Musk's X, formerly called Twitter, continues to make headlines for adding new features to improve the video experience on the app. Soon after introducing timestamps on X for videos, the company is now bringing an "Enhanced call privacy" feature to let users hide their IP address while making calls on X. The update was shared by X Designer Andrea Conway in a post.

Conway (@ehikian) posted that X is "adding more ways" to help shield user privacy when engaged on a video or audio call with an X account. In the screengrab shared by the X Designer, this feature is visible within the "Enable audio and video calling" feature. You can choose to enable or disable them from the DM settings.

"Enable this setting to avoid revealing your IP address to your contact during call," the description of the "Enhanced call privacy" feature read. The improvements come on the expected lines as leakster @swak_12 shared an update on November 8 that "@X is working on 'Enhanced call privacy'. As the description states toggling it hides your IP address during calls."

On a related note, X introduced video and audio calling for Premium users. Users can choose to accept calls from people from their address book, people you follow and verified users. It does not require a working phone number to function.

Also, X Designer Andrea Conway posted that an incognito mode is also in the works and will debut soon. Not many details about the feature are live yet. Plus, to improve the long-form video viewing experience of users, the company is now adding timestamps. You can read more about the feature here.
