Tesla CEO and X (earlier called Twitter) owner, in a recent post on the microblogging app, announced that the viewership of videos of X has almost doubled compared to 2022. He reposted Linda Yaccarino's (CEO of X) post that said that X video views have grown by 90 per cent.
The rise of video viewership on X can be attributed to the revamped focus of Musk to transform X into an "everything app". In this endeavour, the company recently announced a branding overhaul to restructure the image of the iconic Larry Bird in the minds of the users.
"Records all around: Verstappen. F1. X video views are up 90% compared to last year," @lindayaX said in a post which has raked up over 11 million views and 3,400 likes. Reacting to this, Musk said: "Video viewership on X has roughly doubled since last year." The repost with a quote has garnered over 43,000 likes and over 10 million views at the time of filing.
