As Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is all set for a debut in August, it has been subject to massive detail churning by the rumour mill. In the latest update, the box package of the phone and the front and back design was leaked by a Weibo user. In the images, the box of the Mix Fold 3 is visible with the "Xiaomi Mix Fold 3" and "Co-engineered with Leica" text.

A "Mi" logo sits at the top right. The front of the device will likely have a centre-punch hole screen curved on the sides. A power button and a volume rocker are visible on the right side.

In another real-life image, the smartphone's back design was leaked. The device is visible with four cameras and a flash with "Leica" branding engraved on the camera module. It will likely have a leather finish and a "Xiaomi" branding in the bottom centre.

According to reports, the phone may have an 8.02-inch FHD+ main and a 6.5-inch cover screen. Both will likely have a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone may have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage. It may sport a 4,800mAh battery. As for the optics, reports hint that the phone may have a 50MP primary, 50MP ultrawide, 50MP telephoto and 50MP periscope lens on the back.

Earlier, Lei Jun, Founder and CEO of Xiaomi, via an X post, said that the phone will have Leica optics. The device will sport a four-camera setup on the back. The company has not given any official hints about the launch of the Fold 3 in India. Speaking of the foldable market in general, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 launched in India recently. OnePlus is gearing up to unveil its OnePlus Open, most likely in the next month.
