Hyderabad BMW Crash: A speeding BMW caused chaos on the outskirts of Hyderabad after crashing into two cars and a bike that were waiting at a red signal near My Home Avatar Circle in Narsingi on Saturday morning. The impact left all three vehicles heavily damaged.

The NDTV report cited police as stating that, a woman riding pillion on the bike suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported.

Hyderabad BMW Crash: Driver Arrested, Drunken Driving Suspected

CCTV footage from the area captured the moment the luxury car rammed into the stationary vehicles. The driver, identified as Abhishek G. Chandra, fled the scene after the crash but was later tracked down and detained by police.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. A case has been registered at the Narsingi police station and the vehicle has been seized.

Officials said the BMW is registered under the name of Madhavi Mekala and has two pending overspeeding challans. Police have launched further inquiries into the case.

In separate news, a massive pile-up was reported on Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road after a speeding car crashed into another vehicle that had suddenly braked, triggering a series of collisions. In total, six cars were involved in the accident, resulting in significant damage to several vehicles. A few passengers sustained minor injuries during the crash.

The incident caused a major traffic jam along the busy stretch of the ORR, disrupting movement for commuters during peak hours. On receiving information, Rajendra Nagar traffic police arrived promptly at the scene and began clearing the wreckage to ease the congestion and restore normal traffic flow.
