A Hyderabad doctor was arrested following raids at his accommodation by Telangana's Excise Special Task Force (STF), exposing the city-wide drug trafficking network.

The post-graduate doctor, identified as John Paul is a resident of Musheerabad. The STF's B team seized six varieties of high-value narcotics. The drugs had an estimated value of Rs 3 lakh, as per an NDTV report.

Paul’s Associates On The Run

Three of Paul’s associates are on the run. As per STF officials, Paul became a part of the syndicate to sustain his drug habits.

Paul’s associates have been identified as Pramod, Sandeep, and Sharath or Saratulu. The men used Paul’s home as a secure location. The house was also the distribution point for the drugs.

As per the report, Pramod, Sandeep, and Sharath would source drugs from Delhi and Bengaluru. The drugs were stored at Paul's home and sold to people known to the trio. Paul was allowed to use the drugs for free as he allowed his home to be used for the sales.

According to the report, STF found drugs including OG Kush (26.95 grams), MDMA (6.21 g), 15 LSD sticks, Cocaine 1.32 g, Gummus 5.80 g, and Hashish Oil 0.008 g.
