Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Hyderabad traffic police have announced traffic diversions in view of the Yellamma Kalyanam celebrations scheduled between July 1 and July 2 at the Yellamma Temple in Balkampet. The religious event is expected to draw large crowds for the kalyanotsavam (divine marriage ceremony) and rathotsavam (temple chariot procession), prompting officials to take traffic control measures.
Hyderabad Traffic Advisory For Yellamma Kalyanam celebrations
According to the advisory, vehicles coming from Greenlands, Matha Temple and Satyam Theatre towards Fateh Nagar will be diverted at the SR Nagar T Junction. Commuters will be rerouted through SR Nagar Community Hall, Abhilasha Towers, and BK Guda X Road before continuing to Sriram Nagar X Road and rejoining the Sanath Nagar–Fateh Nagar Road.
Hyderabad Traffic Restricted And Diverted On THESE Routes
Traffic from Fateh Nagar flyover heading towards Balkampet will not be permitted. Instead, it will be diverted at the New Bridge towards Katamaisamma Temple and Begumpet.
Vehicles from Greenlands, Bakul Apartments, and Food World trying to enter Balkampet will be redirected at Food World X Road towards Sonabai Temple, Satyam Theatre, and Maithrivanam or SR Nagar T Junction.
Similarly, commuters from Begumpet and Katamaisamma Temple heading to Balkampet will face diversions towards Greenlands, Matha Temple, Satyam Theatre, and SR Nagar T Junction. By-lanes and connecting roads from SR Nagar T Junction to Fateh Nagar will be closed during the event.
