Hyderabad Weather Forecast: The Meteorological Department has forecast rains for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for the next two days. The Hyderabad Meteorological Center has stated that there is a possibility of light to moderate rains with thunder and lightning and gusty winds (30 to 40 kilometres per hour) in some districts of Telangana on Friday, April 18. There is a possibility of storm accompanied by thunder and lightning in Komaram Bheem, Mancherial, Jagtialpalli, Karimnagar, Jaya Shankar Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Janagaon, Siddipet, Nagar Kurnool districts of Telangana.

According to the IMD, a trough extends from a cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan to the Gulf of Mannar across East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, and Tamil Nadu at 0.9 km above mean sea level. Under the influence of this, light to moderate rainfall or thundershowers are likely to continue across the state for the next six days.

An orange alert has been issued for Adilabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Komaram Bheem, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Peddapalli and Rajanna Sircilla districts today. The Meteorological Department said that the highest temperatures are likely to be recorded in the above nine districts. The maximum temperatures are likely to gradually increase by two to three degrees in the next three days.

On Thursday, The IMD has issued a yellow alert for the next three days, warning of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds (40–50 kmph) at isolated locations in the districts of Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Jangaon, Hanamkonda, and Nagarkurnool.
