List Of Most Intelligent Person With High IQ: With the vast population that we have, and with several people who have proved themselves time and again with their inventions, discoveries and art masterpieces, it's hard to declare a single person as the most intelligent person in the world. However, if ‘figures and scores’ enter the picture, it is somewhat possible to know about the most intelligent personalities lived so far. If you already haven’t guessed it, we are hinting at intelligence in terms of IQ scores. So for today, we thought to take a look at the same, and based on that, we compiled a list of the most intelligent people in the world, in terms of IQ.
List Of Most Intelligent People In The World With Highest IQ Level:
YoungHoon Kim
On the first spot on the list of the most intelligent people in the world in terms of IQ, is reportedly a South Korean prodigy, YoungHoon Kim, who scored an impressive 276, as per the Giga Society. The score was announced in April 2024, making Kim a popular name among people, especially among people with higher IQs. He is reportedly the president and the founder of the United Sigma Intelligence Association.
Marilyan vos Savant
On the second spot on the list, we have the beautiful and intelligent Marilyan vos Savant. Not only is the woman one of the people with the highest IQs, 228, but she is also reportedly a popular columnist. She ran the famous column, Ask Marilyn, for 30 years. She was born in 1946 in the USA’s Missouri, and is also a playwright, lecturer and author. She, based on her high IQ, also clinched a spot in the Guinness World Record for smarts.

Terence Tao
On the third spot, we have the intelligent Terence Tao. Tao, with a reported IQ of 225, began to show the signs of being the smartest in the room from a very young age. At the tender age of two, the young Tao was reportedly teaching how to add numbers to 5-year-olds, which he apparently learned from the show Sesame Street. By the time the boy reached the age of 7, he developed a habit of reading ‘calculus books’, resulting in winning a gold medal in International Mathematical Olympiads, by the age of 10.
Leonardo da Vinci
Coming to the fourth most intelligent man in the world as per the IQ- its reportedly Leonardo da Vinci. The man surely was known for multiple skills- from an excellent painter to a renowned engineer, scientist, sculptor and whatnot, Leonardo da Vinci earned a name in several fields. Coming to his IQ, the man reportedly had an IQ of 220. He was born in 1452 in Italy, and gave the world one of the most famous and beautiful paintings of all, the Last Supper and the Mona Lisa.
Johann Woflgang von Goethe
On the fifth spot on the list, we have another polymath, who was also a writer; Johann Woflgang von Goethe. Born in Germany, the man reportedly had an IQ between 210 to 225. With prominent writers and poets like Friedrich Schiller, William Shakespeare, and more as his inspiration, the man eventually went on to write world-renowned plays like Faust, Egmont, a Tragedy, and more.
Kim Ung-Yong
Coming to the second half of the list, on the sixth spot, we have another South Korean prodigy; Kim Ung-Yong. He reportedly has an IQ of 210. Born in South Korea’s Seoul, he repeatedly published her first piece at the young age of 3. He was born in 1962 and even received a chance to appear on TV for his excellent skills in maths. He was also appointed as the vice president of the North Kyeong-gi Development Research Center.
Voltaire
On the seventh spot on the list, we have the famous writer Voltaire. François-Marie Arouet, went by his pen name-Voltaire. He was born in Paris, in 1694, and reportedly had an IQ between 190 to 200. He was known for his popular ‘satirical work’, and was also a deist. Apart from being a writer, he was also a historian and a philosopher. Alongside his works, he was also vocal about social issues like freedom of speech, freedom of religion and more.
Judit Polgar
On the eighth spot, we have one of the most hailed chess players, who etched history in the field of chess at a very young age; Judit Polgar. The woman reportedly has an IQ of 170. As per reports, Polgar was born in 1976 in Budapest and was homeschooled by his father, along with his sisters.
Nikola Tesla
On the ninth spot, we have an inventor and a futurist, who pretty much changed the world through his electrical and mechanical engineering and his inventions; Nikola Tesla. He reportedly had an IQ between 160 to 300. He was born in Croatia in 1856 and is hailed for some of the inventions that eventually played a major role in current electronic gadgets on which humanity is heavily dependent.
Paul Allen
On the tenth spot, we have the popular Paul Allen, who co-founded Microsoft, along with Bill Gates. He reportedly had an IQ of 160 to 170. He was born in 1983. Diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, he died in 2018.
