Top 10 Best Selling Cars February 2025: The modern world has given landmark years for the Indian auto sector. Maruti Suzuki is leading the sales list for February this year. The choice of the best-sold car in India is based on several factors such as affordability, appearance and even fuel efficiency. This month, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx was the top-selling car, which surpassed other popular cars like the Maruti Wagon R and Hyundai Creta. Here's a close-up view of the top 10 best-selling vehicles in India for February 2025 and a short description of each model, as per Forbes India.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx is a cross sub-4m SUV type. Its key features include it is a perfect blend of style and functionality. It has a strong design and sophisticated safety features. It also comes with a variety of engine options, such as a 1.0L turbo petrol and a 1.2L petrol engine. The Fronx is the best-selling car of February 2025 and has experienced an impressive month-on-month increase of 41% selling 21,461 units.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is a hatchback-type car. The car is famous for having a large inside space and a fuel-efficient system. It is widely used in India due to its affordability and size. It comes in a 1.0L and a 1.2L petrol version. As far as sales are concerned, the sales have seen a decrease from January, the Wagon R still is the second best-selling car in Feb 2025 selling 19,879 units.

Hyundai Creta (ICE + EV)

Hyundai Creta (ICE + EV) is a mid-SUV and is known for its premium features and solid build quality. It comes in both petrol and diesel variants and also has an electric variant. The Creta sold 16,317 units, down marginally from January but up by 6% year on year.

Maruti Suzuki Swift

Maruti Suzuki Swift is also a hatchback-type car and is loved across the nation for its sporty look and nimble handling. It has a 1.2L petrol engine. The stylish car recorded a whopping year-on-year growth of 23%, with 16,269 units being sold in February 2025.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno

With its trendy design and top-notch features, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno is a new hot favourite in the premium hatchback segment. It comes with a 1.2L petrol engine. Sales of the Baleno dropped from second to fifth with 15,480 units sold in February 2025.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza

Maruti Suzuki Brezza is a subcompact SUV and its key features are a strong build, stylish sunroof and advanced safety features. It is equipped with a 1.5L petrol engine. The Brezza continued its sales drive with 15,392 units sold.

Tata Nexon

Tata’s Subcompact SUV, the Tata Nexon symbolises safety and good looks. It comes in both petrol and diesel variants. The Nexon retailed 15,349 units and reaffirmed itself as a high-selling SUV.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

The MPV, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga remains a family favourite because of its generous space and fuel efficiency. It features a 1.5L petrol engine. The Ertiga retails 14,868 units, which makes it the best-selling car in the MPV category.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire

A Sedan boasts fuel efficiency and a compact nature. It also features a 1.2L petrol engine. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire sold 14,694 units which made it a significant car in the sedan market.

Tata Punch (ICE + EV)
