Marvel Studios’ upcoming movie, Avengers Doomsday, is one of the talked-about films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The anticipated superhero movie is slated for release in theatres on December 18, 2026. Since the announcement of the film, the makers have maintained the hype of the film. To increase excitement among fans, the director duo (popularly known as Russo Brothers) Joe Russo and Anthony Russo have shared an intriguing post regarding the movie. They posted a blurred image with a caption, ‘Doomsday Is Coming’.

Russo Brothers’ post have left Marvel fans confused. Some asked what could this mean while others shared their predictions. A user asked, “MY NERDS BROS, WHAT COULD THIS MEAN???” Another wrote, “Welcome back to New Rockstars, I'm Erik Voss....” A user guessed, “Im going to take a guess and say that is reeds chalkboard.” Another asked, “Tobey and Andrew are back?!?!?!” A fan said, “Sorry new rockstars or screen crush I'll take this one its reed's chalkboard trying to solve multiversal travel when doom takes his child.”

Earlier, there were speculations about Doctor Strange’s involvement. Benedict Cumberbatch initially confirmed his role in this movie, then stated that the script changes shifted his character to Avengers: Secret Wars. Later, again he confirmed that he is in the Doomsday. He told Business Insider, “I am in that one.” However, his name was not announced in the official cast announcement of the Marvel movie.

The shooting for Avengers Doomsday is currently underway. Channing Tatum has been confirmed to reprise his role as Gambit after his cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine. He teased a big fight with Doctor Doom, suggesting that X-men will have a significant part in the story.

Avengers Doomsday features Robert Downey Jr, Pedro Pascal, Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Lewis Pullman, Winston Duke and Tom Hiddleston in key roles. The superhero movie has been produced by Kevin Feige, Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. Avengers: Doomsday is part six of the phase six of MCU. The film's sequel, Secret Wars, is set to be released on December 17, 2027.
