Five Indian-origin men have been taken into custody and charged with the murder of Kuldeep Kumar, a 35-year-old Indian national, whose body was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a secluded area of Manchester Township, New Jersey. The Ocean County prosecutor's office revealed the arrests, bringing to light the gruesome killing and the extensive investigation that followed.
Kuldeep Kumar was fatally shot multiple times in the chest on or around October 22, 2024. His family, based in New York, reported him missing on October 26. However, it was nearly two months later, on December 14, when his body was discovered in the Greenwood Wildlife Management Area, a nature preserve in New Jersey. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) assisted in identifying the victim, whose remains were in an advanced state of decomposition.
Following an extensive investigation, authorities determined that Sourav Kumar, Gaurav Singh, Nirmal Singh, and Gurdeep Singh, all from Greenwood, Indiana, collaborated in the murder of Kuldeep Kumar. The accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
