NFL Draft 2025: The first round of the NFL 2025 draft is all set to establish the tone, marking one of the most exciting events in the football calendar.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, former Green Bay Packers players Mason Crosby, Ahman Green, James Jones, Clay Matthews, and Jordy Nelson will open the three-day event as announcers on day 1.

All eyes will be on the stage as the next wave of football stars step into the spotlight. As of now, the Tennessee Titans hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Months of scouting, interviews, pro days, and media chatter have all built up to this moment, and it’s time for prospects to turn their lifelong dreams into reality.

 

2025 NFL Draft Round 1: Key details including timings

According to reports, the franchise appears to have made up its mind. It could be possible that Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward will be Nashville-bound, ushering in a new era for the Titans. It is to be noted that the 49ers and Ravens have the most picks in the draft, with 11 each, while the Vikings have the fewest, with four selections. No first-round picks have been traded, so every team is currently set to make a selection on Day 1.

The NFL draft will officially begin on Thursday, April 24, at 8 p.m. ET. The Titans have 10 minutes to finalise their pick, and the first name on the draft is expected to be announced between 8:10 PM and 8:15 PM ET.

Day 1 of the draft will feature a total of 32 selections in total. The draft will be broadcast on ABC, ESPN, and NFL Network, with additional streaming available through ESPN+, NFL+, YouTube TV, Hulu+ Live TV, Fubo TV, and Sling TV.
