Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been making headlines ever since they announced their engagement on social media. The couple's love story has once again caught their fans' attention, this time through a romantic letter that the NFL star penned for the global pop icon. During the sixth episode of Eras Tour docuseries Taylor Swift: The End of an Era, Taylor was seen reading out loud the romantic letter her now-fiancé sent to her before her final three shows in Vancouver in December 2024. Travis Kelce's heartfelt confession for the love of his life has left fans in awe.

In the viral video, Taylor can be seen backstage with her mother, Andrea Swift, as she reads out the note from the Kansas City Chiefs star. In the letter, Kelce wrote, "So many unbelievable memories on this tour but my favorite one is seeing you in concert for the first time, being mesmerized and swept off my feet by a woman who doesn't even know me. I selfishly say thank you for creating this legendary tour and to Robert for making you stop through Kansas City, Missouri. That night, too, in KC was the beginning of me meeting the love of my life...."

Keeping the rest of the letter private, Taylor reacts to the letter, “Aww my God. So much for no emotions on the last three shows."

Fans remembered how Kelce attended the Eras Tour in July 2023 at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri and tried to meet Taylor during one of the stops but failed. He later admitted this on an episode of his and his brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast, where he also shared a story of a personalised friendship bracelet for Taylor with his number on it, as per People report.

Taylor also revealed who played a cupid in their love story. During Episode 4 of The End of an Era, when Taylor asked her mother, "If you want to tell the story then you should tell the story. Andrea responded, saying, "I kinda do, I do because I think it's a pretty cool story."

Taylor's mother shared, "I'm looking at the headlines and perusing around what's on the internet and I see that this guy came to your show and he brought a friendship bracelet and wants to meet you. And of course I call up my resident expert on the Kansas City Chiefs, my cousin, Robin. I go, 'Tell me about this guy named Travis Kelce.' And she goes 'Oh my god, he's the nicest guy, and you know what he really loves his mom'. I went, 'ding ding ding ding!' And I said, 'Now how in the world am I gonna get her to meet him?'"

To this, Taylor added, "I'd been very non-athlete. Because I'm not one and I've always just been like, 'Well what would we talk about?' So you called me up with this tone of 'Hey, so I know you're gonna not react well to this but there's a guy...' You said something to the effect of, 'You gotta start doing something different.'"
