Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris said her presidency “would not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency” in an interview with Fox News. This was the first time Harris had set for a conversation with Fox News, which has been a consistent promoter of Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump.

In a fiery exchange, Harris confronted interviewer Bret Baier on rightwing topics including immigration and gender transition surgery. Their discussion was marked by Harris's insistence on completing her points, repeatedly asking, "May I finish?" as Baier intervened.

When asked if she would have acted differently than President Biden during his tenure, Harris said, "My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden's presidency.” She became her party's nominee after the ageing Biden dropped out in July.

Harris asserted she would bring "fresh and new ideas" and added: “I represent a new generation of leadership.” She further criticised Trump for threatening to use the military against internal enemies.

"He's the one who tends to demean and belittle and diminish the American people. He's the one who talks about an 'enemy within,” Harris said.

Reacting to Kamala’s Fox News interview, Trump took to Truth Social and praised Bret Baier for conducting a "tough but very fair interview" with Vice President Kamala Harris. He took the opportunity to criticize Harris, calling attention to what he perceived as her incompetence.

Trump also held a pre-recorded town hall with Fox News featuring an all-female audience ahead of Harris's appearance. During the discussion, the topic shifted to in vitro fertilization (IVF), a fertility treatment that Democrats argue is at risk due to his policies.

The conversation proved difficult, as many women have been alienated by Trump's remarks on reproductive rights and his overall campaign.
