Security at the Ram Janmabhoomi complex has been significantly stepped up with the start of the flag-hoisting ceremonies. Multiple layers of screening have been introduced, with every entrant, devotee, staff, and even security personnel being checked at two to three points. Identity cards, darshan passes, and entry passes are being thoroughly verified, and no individual is allowed entry without proper screening. Vehicles are also undergoing strict checks using metal detectors.
Alongside Ram temple darshan, preparations for the upcoming flag-hoisting events are in full swing. Rituals are being conducted at the Yagyashala, while a grand stage is being prepared near the Singh Dwar for the Prime Minister’s address. Seating arrangements for guests are underway, and a separate stage dedicated to the flag-hoisting is being constructed behind the temple.
With the commencement of the five-day rituals, surveillance across the complex has been further intensified. Watchtower personnel have been instructed to remain alert, while bomb disposal units and dog squads continue round-the-clock checks at all entry points. ATS and CRPF commandos are also monitoring the area through continuous patrols.
The SPG team overseeing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security has reached the site and will take charge of the event venue. Additionally, around 300 specially trained security personnel from various districts have been deployed to manage guest security and the areas surrounding the temple. These personnel, dressed in a uniformed outfit, have been instructed to remain fully alert for 7-8 hours during the Prime Minister’s visit and are prohibited from using mobile phones while on duty.
SP Security Balaramachari Dubey said that security arrangements have been strengthened in tandem with the flag-hoisting preparations. All entry points are under strict monitoring, and anti-drone systems have been activated.

Security has also been boosted at both pilgrim service centres (Yatri Seva Kendras) and the pilgrim facilitation centre (Yatri Suvidha Kendra) operated by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
The number of security personnel deployed at these locations has been increased, metal detectors have been installed, and a DFMD has been set up at the Rampath service centre near Birla Dharamshala. These centres typically witness heavy footfall as devotees rest before and after darshan.
