The Indian Railways is all set to operate a new passenger train from Uttar Pradesh’s Bhatni to Ayodhya that will provide a new option to devotees who want to visit Ayodhya Ram Temple, which is expected to be inaugurated in January 2024.
The train will run daily from Bhatni at 4.55 am and stop at several stations, including Noonkhar, Ahilyapur, Deoria Sadar, Baitalpur, Gauribazar, Chaurichaura, Sardar Nagar, Kusmhi and Gorakhpur. Devotees of Deoria district as well as Ballia, Siwan, Gopalganj and neighbouring state Bihar will be able to travel directly to visit Ayodhya.
The railway administration decided to run the train given the increasing number of devotees who want to visit the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The temple is almost ready and will be inaugurated in January.

Public Relations Officer Ashok Kumar said that the train is a gift from the railway administration to the devotees of Lord Shri Ram. He said that everyone is welcoming this initiative, which will help the lakhs of devotees expected to arrive at the inauguration of the temple.
The railways will also operate a Vande Bharat Express from Patna to Lucknow via Ayodhya. The semi-high-speed train will provide Ram devotees in Bihar with a thrilling new option for a comfortable and swift experience to reach the holy city of Ayodhya and Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow. The train is also likely to be halted at Arrah Junction in the Bhojpur district of Bihar.
