Office-bearers of the District Bar Association, Collectorate Gautam Buddh Nagar, in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, boycotted work and protested against District Magistrate Medha Rupam in Greater Noida on Monday. The office-bearers allege that the DM refused to meet them and receive a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The association stated that in a previous meeting, all lawyers had discussed the prevalent corruption in the district and at the Sadar, Dadri, and Jewar tehsils (administrative divisions). Due to the corruption prevalent at the tehsil and district levels, lawyers, litigants, and the general public are unable to get their judicial work done.

In response, the office-bearers boycotted work and held a protest against the District Magistrate and the administration. The lawyers warned the administration to further intensify the protest if left unheard.
