A dhaba worker was beaten to death on Saturday afternoon by three men following a dispute over food in the BisrakhKotwali area. The victim, identified as Neetu, a resident of Saharanpur, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at a hospital.
The incident took place at Gopal Ji Dhaba, located under the jurisdiction of the Gaur City-2 police post. According to the dhaba operator, Varun Kaushik, who reported the matter to the 112 emergency line, three men came to the eatery for a meal.
An argument broke out between the customers and his employee, Neetu. The situation escalated quickly, and the three men brutally assaulted the worker with kicks and punches, leaving him seriously injured. When bystanders attempted to intervene, the accused threatened them before fleeing the scene.
Police arrived at the location and rushed the injured worker to a hospital, where he later died.

The in-charge of the BisrakhKotwali stated that a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder has been registered against the three accused. "The accused have been identified, and police teams have been deployed for their arrest," the official confirmed. The victim's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination after the completion of the inquest report.
