Lucknow Weather: The weather has taken a turn in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow. Torrential rain with strong winds was witnessed in the capital on Monday. There was also a storm accompanied by thunder and lightning. IMD has issued an alert for strong winds in the UP for the next two days. After that, the state is likely to see sporadic rain. As per the weather body, the conditions will remain dry from March 17 to 20. After this, the eastern wind blowing from the Bay of Bengal can bring a change in the weather again. The winds are expected to blow at a speed of 30 km per hour.
Uttar Pradesh Weather Today
The weather is expected to remain clear in UP on March 17. No alert of any kind has been issued during this period. Similar conditions are likely on March 18 as well. During this time strong winds may blow at a speed of 20-30 kmph in western and eastern UP. An alert has been issued for strong winds at the speed of 20 to 30 kmph in both parts for March 19, while the weather may remain completely dry on March 20.
Varanasi Was The Hottest And Ayodhya Was The Coldest
In many districts of UP, the maximum and minimum temperatures have risen rapidly. According to the information given by Mausi Weather Centre in Lucknow, Varanasi was the hottest district of UP on Sunday. The maximum temperature here was recorded at 39.9 degrees Celsius. Whereas, the lowest temperature in Ayodhya was 14 degrees Celsius.
UP Rain Alert
An alert has been issued for rain in UP on March 21 and 22. As per the weather body there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at some places in eastern UP. During this period, the weather in western UP may remain completely clear. On the other hand, the temperature in Lucknow is increasing. The minimum temperature in Lucknow has been recorded at 21.8 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature at 36.6 degree Celsius.
