Meerut To Celebrate Dussehra At 8 Key Venues; Fairs, Drone Show, Tallest Ravan And More

Dussehra celebrations in Meerut will be marked with grand fairs at eight major locations, including Sadar Bhaisali Maidan, Delhi Road Ramlila Ground, Surajkund, Rajban, Jail Chungi, Shastrinagar K-Block, Kaserukhera, and Prahladnagar.

At Sadar Bhaisali Maidan, the main attraction today (Thursday) will be a special laser and drone show, in which a condensed version of the Ramlila will be projected in the sky for 15-20 minutes. The tallest effigy of Ravana, measuring 120 feet, will also be set ablaze here.

The Delhi Road Ramlila Ground will host a three-hour complete Ramlila staged by the City Ramlila Committee. At Rajban Ramlila, a fireworks competition between pyrotechnists from Khatauli and Sardhana will add to the festivities. In Kaserukhera, the Ravana effigy will feature glowing embers for a dramatic effect.

-Surajkund Park

-Rajban Football Ground

-Jail Chungi Chauraha Ramlila Ground

Ramlila Committee General Secretary Ganesh Agarwal said the special shows and unique attractions this year aim to make the celebrations even more memorable for the public.
