The Noida Authority is set to transform a 500-metre-long stretch in Sector-126 into its third 'model road' for Rs 4.5 crore. The objective of this project is to create a safe, accessible, and attractive public space for pedestrians, office commuters, and residents.
Designed by Orion Architects, the road will pass by the HCL office at one end and a school at the other, covering an area with industries, educational institutions, and local vendors. Utilities on the road will be placed underground in a two-metre-deep duct, allowing maintenance without disturbing the road surface. The duct will house lighting and power cables, water supply lines, telecom cables, and gas pipelines.
