Noida Jewar Airport Connectivity: To enable the general public to easily reach the Noida International Airport being built in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, a decision has been taken at the government level regarding connectivity. The city bus service will be started in all three authority areas of the district. The first route will be between Jewar and Botanical Garden of Noida, jagran.com reported.

The remaining routes will be selected by the joint Special Sponsorship Agency (SPV) being formed by Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Authority. At present, buses will run on this route first every hour and then at an interval of 45 minutes. The concerned agency will have to run buses on this route first.

500 City Buses Will Run In All Three Authority Areas

After the opening of the financial bids of the tender held in March for running 500 city buses in the three authority areas, two agencies have been selected. This tender has been done by the Directorate of Urban Transport. The Directorate has clarified the status of the priority routes to the three authorities.

Noida will get 300 buses, Greater Noida and Yamuna Authority will get 100 buses each. Officers of all three authorities will be included in the SPV. They will decide the routes as per the survey report of the authority and the requirement and will give it to the agency which gets the responsibility of bus operation. Along with this, the authorities will have to prepare the bus stops, depots and other infrastructure and give it to the agency.

Route And Upcoming Bus Information Will Be Available On App

After the formation of SPV for bus operation, the outline of operation will be prepared. The state's Urban Transport Directorate will give direction in this. The need to connect city bus operation with the app has emerged in Noida-Greater Noida-Yamuna Authority area.

This app will be prepared by SPV. It is being told that information about bus routes, timings etc. will be available on the app. Payment through UPI and joint card with Noida Metro will also be considered through the app.
