Noida News: Residents of a Noida housing complex were left stunned after a cobra was spotted inside an elevator on Sunday. The incident took place at the Golden Palm Society in Sector 168, where panic spread as soon as the elevator doors opened to reveal the snake inside.

According to a NDTV report, a few residents were waiting to use the lift when they noticed the cobra sitting inside with its hood raised. Shocked by the sight, they immediately alerted the society’s maintenance team instead of stepping in.

Noida Society Snake Safely Captured And Released

The maintenance staff quickly arrived and began efforts to capture the reptile. They managed to trap the snake safely in a garbage container before releasing it in an open area outside the society premises.

No injuries were reported during the incident, but residents expressed concern about how the snake managed to enter the elevator unnoticed.

Residents Fear More Snake Sightings

Following the episode, fear has gripped the society. Many residents are now hesitant to use the lift, worrying that snakes could appear on any floor. Some even claimed that snakes have been spotted in the society earlier as well.

Parents said children are now reluctant to play outside or use common areas. Locals have requested the authorities to take preventive measures, such as sealing possible entry points and carrying out frequent checks to ensure safety.

In recent months, several videos showing snakes inside Noida residential areas have surfaced, raising concerns about safety in urban societies surrounded by greenery and construction sites.
