Noida YEIDA update: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has started the construction of two key ramps on the Yamuna Expressway near Bhagpur village to connect the upcoming International Film City in Noida’s Sector 21 with the Yamuna Expressway. The under-construction ramps are at the 26.4-kilometre mark from the expressway’s zero point.
The Rs 3.5 crore project is part of YEIDA’s efforts to create seamless road infrastructure, integrating urban development along the Yamuna Expressway corridor. The two ramps, which are under construction, are an integrated part of an overall project to construct four ramps. This is the first phase of the project, and the remaining two will be developed in the second phase.
Among the two under-construction ramps, the descending ramp will be 673 meters long, while the length of the ascending one has been kept at 625 meters. Each interchange will have three lanes. The ramps are expected to be completed within one year, providing a direct and uninterrupted connection to Film City from the Yamuna Expressway.
The new infrastructure setup is expected to significantly decongest the nearby areas and reduce travel time for vehicles accessing the Film City.
Yeida’s Film City Project
The 1,000-acre Film City project will kick off with work on 230 acres in the first phase, involving a Rs 1,510 crore investment over eight years. The project is a large-scale initiative to create a film-production hub in Uttar Pradesh
The construction of ramps on the Yamuna Expressway marks a key infrastructure milestone that will directly benefit the International Film City and set the foundation for smarter, well-connected development in the region. With road connectivity now being addressed, Film City is positioned to emerge as a landmark creative and economic hub in Uttar Pradesh.\
