Fearless youths beat a 40-year-old man, Ravindra Pasi, to death with bricks and stones in broad daylight. Angered by the incident, family members and local residents created a ruckus. They also vandalised vehicles moving on the road. The accused party belongs to another community, which has led to tension in the area. Police are engaged in trying to pacify the enraged family members.

It is reported that Ravindra Kumar, a resident of Neem Sarai Mundera in the Dhoomanganj police station area, had gone near the Mundera Chungi petrol pump on Monday afternoon for some work. At that time, several youths from another community arrived, and a dispute broke out over an old rivalry. As the argument escalated, a scuffle and stone-pelting ensued between the two sides. Ravindra was then attacked with bricks and stones.

He was admitted to the hospital in an injured state, where he died during treatment. This left the family in grief and anger. On Tuesday, the enraged family members blocked Jeeti Road by placing the victim's body on it and vandalised vehicles. CCTV footage of the brick and stone attack has also surfaced. Inspector of Dhoomanganj, Amarnath Rai, stated that the incident is under investigation.
