Officials of the Basic and Secondary Education Department posted in Prayagraj have now been prohibited from travelling to Lucknow without permission. The administration cites affected work in offices and loss of control over subordinate staff as the main reasons for the action.
The decision comes after the administration received information that several officials from Prayagraj were frequently staying in Lucknow without any valid reason.
