UP Family Card Scheme: The Family ID Card scheme of the Uttar Pradesh government allows an individual to avail of 76 welfare schemes of the Central and State governments. Under the scheme, registered families will receive a 12-digit identification number, which they can use to avail the various welfare schemes. The scheme will provide assistance in employment, pension, scholarship, health services, etc.

Under this scheme, 40,000 families have applied so far in Kanpur. The authorities will hold more camps in the city to make Family ID Cards for the residents.

Under the Family ID Card Scheme, the details of the families will be received from the 12-digit identification number, ensuring the eligible families receive the benefits of the government welfare schemes on time. The government welfare scheme includes services in employment, pension, scholarship and health services. This ID Card is beneficial for those who do not hold a ration card.

Talking about the Family ID Card scheme, the Chief Development Officer, Diksha Jain, shared that the process of giving Family ID Cards has started with the 12-digit identification number under the ‘One Family, One Identity’ scheme.

UP Family ID Card Scheme: How To Apply?

Applicants can apply for the Family ID Card scheme online or through the Public Service Centre. The amount for the application is Rs 30. Before applying, your mobile number should be linked to the Aadhaar Card as verification will be done through Aadhaar OTP-based authentication. To apply online, you can apply through the UP Family ID App.
