The Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Board (UP Awas Evam Vikas Parishad) has successfully concluded a massive e-auction of properties across the state, capitaliing on the Navratri and Dussehra festive season to generate revenue of Rs 1,168 crore. Following this success, the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has also announced a similar online auction for its prime properties.
UP Housing Board's Successful Auction
The Housing Board's e-auction, for which registration began on September 18, saw enthusiastic participation from interested buyers. A total of 391 residential and 601 non-residential properties were sold in various cities.
The breakdown of properties included:
Lucknow: 334 properties
Kanpur: 213 properties
Meerut: 134 properties
Agra: 127 properties
Properties in the Gorakhpur and Varanasi zones were also part of the auction.
LDA's Upcoming E-Auction
Inspired by the Housing Board's model, the LDA is now offering over 350 residential and commercial properties in an e-auction scheduled for October 13, 2025.

Registration for this sale is currently underway. The properties on offer are located in various prime schemes, including the Sahara Bazar Complex in Vibhuti Khand and a commercial complex in Ratan Khand. This marks another opportunity for buyers during the festival season, following a previous LDA e-auction held just two months ago.
