UP Weather Update: Several cities in Uttar Pradesh, including Agra, Mathura, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Moradabad, and Lucknow, are reeling under strong sunshine, with temperatures rising over the past three days. In Agra, the weather has remained dry, and residents have been facing discomfort due to intense sunlight and humidity.
On Monday, the sun was out since morning, and as the day progressed, its intensity increased. The clear skies allowed harsh sunlight throughout the day, while high humidity levels caused continuous sweating.
According to the Meteorological Department, Agra recorded a maximum temperature of 35.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 25.6 degrees Celsius, about 0.9 degrees Celsius above normal. On Saturday, the city reported 35.6 degrees Celsius (max) and 25.8 degrees Celsius (min).
In Bareilly, the weather is expected to remain clear on Tuesday, though humidity may add to the discomfort.
Meteorologist Mohd Danish said there is currently no weather system in Uttar Pradesh. With the monsoon having retreated from western UP, conditions are expected to remain dry, though light rain with cloudy skies is likely in some areas on September 26–27.
