UP Weather: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rain alert in more than 30 districts of the east and west Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow for the next two days, Wednesday and Thursday. Apart from this, a warning for strong winds (40-50 km per hour) and thunderstorms has also been issued in more than 50 districts.
On Monday, the temperature in Lucknow was recorded at 30 degrees Celsius. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature is forecast to hover around 32 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature is expected to be 26 degrees Celsius.
Monsoon To Remain Active For 4-5 Days
Senior meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh said that monsoon will remain active in most parts of the state for the next four-five days. Lucknow and eastern UP are likely to receive moderate to heavy rainfall in the next two days. Thunderstorms are expected in western Uttar Pradesh in the next 24 hours.

Lightning Warning In THESE Districts
There is a possibility of lightning along with rain and thunder in Meerut, Shamli, Saharanpur. Along with this, heavy showers are expected in Agra, Aligarh, Mathura and surrounding districts. A low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal. This has made the monsoon effective. The low pressure area is currently towards Bengal. It is likely to pass through Uttar Pradesh soon. Due to its effect, there will be heavy rain from the eastern to the western areas of the state.

45 mm Rain Recorded In Lucknow
Lucknow has remained cloudy since Monday. Heavy rain lashed the capital at around 10 am. Till evening, heavy rain continued intermittently in almost all areas in the capital. According to the Meteorological Department, 45 mm of rain was recorded in Lucknow.
