Patanjali Plot Scheme: Patanjali Group will plan industrial plots in Yamuna Authority area. These plots will be planned on 430 acres of land allotted to Patanjali Group in 2017. Patanjali Group will complete the process from planning to their allotment and will inform Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) about it, jagran.com reported. Yamuna Authority allotted 430 acres of land to Patanjali Group in 2017 for a food and herbal park in Sector 24A. Under the terms of the allotment, Patanjali Group was given the right to sub-lease 20 per cent of the land, but a condition was imposed that only food processing and agricultural product related units would be set up on these plots.
Patanjali Group To Sell Plots At Authority Rates
A committee was formed under the chairmanship of YEIDA CEO to monitor the allotment process, but in the 83rd board meeting of Yamuna Authority, it was decided to give the Patanjali Group the right to allot plots by launching a plot scheme. Under this, Patanjali Group will sell the plots at the prevailing rates of the authority as per the set conditions.
The amount received as the difference between the allotment rate and the sale rate will have to be paid to Yamuna Authority. In return, the Authority is getting internal development work done on the allotted land.
Yamuna Authority's Response
Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) CEO Dr Arunvir Singh said that Patanjali Group has been given permission to plan and sell industrial plots with fixed conditions. Apart from sub lease, Patanjali Group is building a food and herbal park on the remaining land. Production will start soon and people will get employment opportunities, jagran.com reported.
