Viral Video: It seems like the much-preffered snack, Samosa, is ‘not safe’ to eat anymore, as some of the most bizarre ‘samosa controversies’ have been stealing the spotlight for quite a while. Just a few days ago, condoms, gutka, and stones were found inside some samosas at a Pune firm’s canteen. And now, another questionable ‘samosa filling’ left people reacting, as students at a DU college found ants inside the snack. The incident allegedly took place at the Dyal Singh College’s canteen, a video of which was shared online.

The clip immediately went viral and gained all kinds of reactions from people. Most people were shocked over the lack of hygiene, while samosa lovers especially ended up with a ‘new fear’ being ‘unlocked’. The date of the incident could not be confirmed.

The video was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘du__india’. The post was captioned, “Ants are being found in the mines of Dyal Singh College. Me and my friend bought these from the canteen in Dyal Singh College and found ants in the food.”

The video spread on social media, faster than a wildfire, making it go viral on the internet. Most people expressed their concerns for the well-being of the students, while the rest couldn't stop themselves from sharing ‘non-veg samosa’ jokes. The post was shared a few days ago and pulled countless reactions.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their views. “stop giving excuses, just eat it (extra protein),” a user said. “Kha lo yr, Bear grills bhi to kha leta hai (It’s okay, just go ahead and eat it. Bear Grills does the same),” a second person said. “Ab khane me cheeti bhi nhi dal sakte?? (Can’t even put ants on food now),” added a third person. “Not canteen waale bhaiya changing the name from veg patty to nonveg patty,” added a fourth person. “Look if there is an uncle available too,” added a fifth user.

“KMV ki canteen mai toh cockroach nikalte hai chup chap kha lo (Cocrockea have been found in KVM canteens, so this is nothing. Please just eat it),” said another. “Serving non-veg to veg people,” wrote a seventh user. “How cute, they are feeding to ants also! Nice work Delhi University appreciated. (Someone has to think about those poor ants),” added another.
