Yesterday, half the human population was busy looking up at the sky, as one of the most breathtaking astronomical events turned the skies into a perfect canvas that a photographer can play with. Yes, it was a total solar eclipse on April 08, and people, especially in the US, from where it was visible the most, clicked an endless number of pictures as they tried to get the perfect shot. Understandably enough, one of these very lenses managed to get the perfect frame, which is now circulating on the internet, leaving people awestruck.

Kendall Rust, the said photographer, clicked a picture of the total solar eclipse, with a plane crossing it. The plane and its contrails further made the picture a rare one, as everything aligned as ‘magically’ as it’s currently sounding. The frame, as per the post, was clicked from Arkansas’s Jonesboro.

The post was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘TheInsiderPaper’. The post was captioned, “INCREDIBLE SHOT: Plane flying through total solar eclipse in Jonesboro, Arkansas.”

The post, soon after getting shared, went viral on social media. Most people loved the picture and also lauded the photographer’s patience for getting the perfect shot, while some shared more pictures that they clicked during yesterday’s total solar eclipse. The post was shared today and pulled 296K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their views. “Cool shot! I’ll bet there are going to be some really amazing images of this when all is said and done,” a user said. “I didn't know planes could fly that high,” joked a second person. “If it’s edited, then cool editing, and if it’s real, then the photographer did a really cool job,” said a third netizen. “The chemtrails were so beautiful today,” said another. “Nailed it, all day, without protection,” commented a fourth user.

“What a breathtaking moment captured! It's amazing how nature and human ingenuity can align in such unexpected ways. Reminds us to cherish these rare occurrences and practice balance in marveling at the world around us,” wrote a fifth person. “Strange. I caught the same thing in Oklahoma. But my phone is old and doesn’t take super great pictures/videos. The shadows of the #chemtrail were stunning in person tho,” added another.
