BTS V’s Japanese Look-Alike Goes Viral: It seems like Japan is going to be THE hub for BTS ARMY, for at least until V is back from his military service. Confused? Well, V aka Kim Taehyung has a look-alike in Japan, who is a handsome Barista! The man is going viral on social media for all the obvious reasons, and the fans are understandably more than excited to try this cafe, Takano Ren's café, where this handsome Barista works. The said cafe is in Mie Prefecture’s Tsu City, meanwhile, the Barista is also the cafe owner.
The cafe, as per reports, opens on weekends from 11 AM to 5 PM. V, on the other hand, is currently serving in the military. Not just V, the rest of the BTS idols, Suga, Jungkook, Jimin, Jhope, Jin, and RM, are also serving in the mandatory South Korean military service. Jin will be the first one to come back since he joined first. The group will reportedly band back together in 2025.

The post went viral on social media and somewhat left people divided. Most pointed out that his gestures and hairstyle looked a lot like V, while some refused to call him the South Korean idol’s look alike. The post was shared yesterday and received thousands of views.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Nope… nothing alike… especially now that Tae’s hair is different in the military,” a user said. “I don’t know if they like alike, but he is so handsome. Also, I can see Hit trying to look like V through his gestures,” wrote a second person. “Oh my god, this is too cute. Another reason to visit Japan. Also, the hair part is a bit too similar. But regardless, he sure is handsome,” added a third person.
“In Japan, there are many people who try to imitate V. Honest, more than him looking like him, it is his gestures that resemble V,” joined a fourth fan. “They don’t look alike. He just has hair similar to Taehyung,” said a fifth person.
“I'm not a BTS fan but they don't look like each other much. But I would surely like to visit the cafe and talk to him. He is handsome,” added another.
