California Earthquake: A magnitude-5.1 earthquake jolted several parts of Southern California on August 20, leaving the people with some unforgettable experiences. The tremors hit some 6km southeast of California’s Ojai at 2:40 PM, according to US Geological Survey. Taking to social media, several citizens shared videos of them experiencing the quake, which is going viral on the internet. Among all the videos, a particular clip gained a lot of attention, where a man was in the middle of a singing session when the earthquake hit the country. The video left the netizens impressed as they found the man’s reaction hilarious and commendable. No injury has been reported yet, but several aftershocks were experienced after the earthquake. The aftershocks were measured up to nearly the magnitude of 4.

In the video, a man was seen singing while sitting on his balcony. Suddenly, everything started to shake around him, but he did not lose his cool. The man was visibly scared but still did not leave his chair. Later, the man was seen taking a sigh of relief after the shaking stopped.
The comment box of the post was filled with concerns by the netizens for the people in the affected region. Some found the man's reaction funny and appreciated the calmness that he displayed throughout the shockwave. The post was shared on August 18 and has pulled 166.7K views from the netizens.
Taking to the comment section, the people shared their views. "This is crazy to me. what are the chances that a places that barley gets any rain, not only get a hurricane but ALSO an earthquake," a user said. "That note hit different... Anyway, hope everyone is safe," added a second. "For a 5.5, that building seems to be shaking forever. I would be running away from the building by the time he got his second," joined a third.
